Two variants of construction are possible: simultanenous adjustment of all knife-edges to the requested cutting length (type Rico BV) or individual adjustment of the cutting length at each of the 30 to 60 knife-edge holders (type Rico HV).

Type Rico is suitable for stable bars only (from ab. 45 mm diameter on) because it is working without cutting chain drive.

With this electronic/pneumatic cutter laundry and toilet soaps as well as synthetic soaps are cut to different tablet lengths.

The continuously extruded soap bar is divided into the requested length by means of a vertical knife that is pneumatically driven. Including electronic control device measuring the bar velocity and regulating the belt conveyor of the machine.

This system guarantees an exact cutting length and an exact vertical cut. An exact vertical cut is guaranteed by a special cutting device that is adapting to the speed of the soap bar during operation. Adjustment of the cutting length can be made during operation by means of the electronic selector installed in the integrated control panel

A cutter with automatic adjustment of cutting lengths is recommended if it is necessary to modify the cutting length frequently.
