SELA Kneader Type TK-B
The kneader TK operates with two counter-current Z-shaped kneading elements rotating with different velocities. They are designed for intensive kneading of soap flakes or noodles with colour, perfume and other liquid or pasty additives and for homogenizing the mixture. Because of the accordingly designed Z-shaped mixing elements and the difference in rotational speed the soap can be kneaded extremely. Mixing a batch takes normally about 10 to 12 minutes.
The twin mixing trough is fed from the top and is discharged by two electrically driven bottom slides. The drive for each mixing element is made by a helical-bevel gearbox. The trough in jacketed design so that it can be heated or cooled according to necessity.
Operation of the kneader is done by a switchboard which is either installed on the machine or separately. The cover of the trough is secured by an electrical guard locking so that the machine is stopped automatically or cannot be started as long as the cover is open.
